Browsing on the net I found one of Japan's most striking forms of Architecture: 'Tower of Wind's' - designed by Toyo Ito. Light is a dominant feature of its design and makes the building come alive at night, contrasting from bold aluminium cylinder is transforms back into during the day. Its futuristic, space aged and sleek. I have never seen architecture like this before. Here are some great pics of Toyo Ito's masterpiece, enjoy!

My Inspiration

One designer who has always influenced my thinking and appreciation  of fashion is Ralph Lauren. I have always been drawn to his unique approach to tailored and fitted clothing for women, yet creates the most feminine and  exquisite gowns pulling a 360 on his norm of fashion. His Fall 2009 collection combined a scruffy "Oliver-twist" theme as noted on (style.com). However his theme evolves into a see of soft pastel silhouettes with combinations of mini's and maxi, mixing heavier fabrics with delicates. There is always a costume aesthetic to his work, yet thats what fashion should be - dressing up. Here are some of my favourite looks from his Fall 2009 collection.

Peace,
